Hi, I’m MAry beth

As a mom, I often find myself in a storytelling role. Whether it’s making up intricate backstories for my kids imaginary friends or telling a story to help my son overcome his fear of bees, stories are always being shared in our household. My very favorite way to share stories is through the lens of photography.

I have photographed celebratory life events from newborns to graduations, but my very favorite story to tell is the story of the every day - splashing in mud puddles, catching fireflies and conversing around the breakfast table while the toddler don's a yogurt mustache. These stories are my favorite ones to tell. Life moves at warp speed and there is often little time to etch those moments into our memory. It is an honor to capture just a piece of those memories so they can be tucked away like a small treasure for years to come.

Our Family

Life through the lens

When I was a kid, I never understood my grandmother’s fascination with blue birds. It perplexed me. Birds were everywhere and they all felt very… normal. Since having children, I finally understand the immense beauty in the world that surrounds me. My children challenge me to slow down and acknowledge both beauty and pain. These two precious little humans inspire me to create in every capacity. My husband is my biggest cheerleader. And thank goodness for my grandmother’s love of blue birds.
